Ma Brahmacharini

Ma Brahmacharini2nd appearance of Ma-Durga is known as Brahmacharini.Brahma meanse penance meaning Brahamacharini doing penance. Brahma has 3 meaning knowledge of scriptures,essence & penance. She has mala in right hand & eathern pot in left hand.

She tools birth as a daughter of Himalaya & was married to Lord Shiva. She penance hardly to gain Lord Shiva in that she ate only fruits & roots for 1000 yrs. , 100 yrs. she ate only veg. & some days without eating under the open sky bearing rain & heat. After that 3000 yrs. she ate leaves fallen on land & atleast for thousands of yrs. without eating even leaves she penance so she was called 'Aparna'. She seeing her body very her mother utter U-ma & so she is also called 'Uma'. In the end brahmaji declare that her wish will be fulfilled & you will get married to Lord Shiva. Her worship is done on the 2 nd day of Navratri. Due to this worship penance,sacrifice,good deeds & restrait in creases in human-being Yoga expert penanace on 'Swadhisthan'.Chakra on this day. On this day Mataji chant, penance, fast , restrait , concentration etc. is necessary.
