Ma Maha Gauri

8th appearance of Ma-Durga is known as 'Maha Gauri'. Her color is white. Whiteners is shown by shell, moon etc. Her age is consider to be of 8 yrs. Her clothes, ornaments everything is of white color. She has 4 hands. Her vehicle is bull. She tools birth at Himalaya's have & took a row that she will marry only Lord Shiva. She penance very toughly so her body grows dark & Lord Shiva wash it with Ganga water that's why she get whitners as shine & got the name as Maha Gauri.

Importance of 8th day is very much & we worship mataji on this day. If human worship after fast he/she gets fruits immediately. In front of mataji photo as in front of Parvati mata in Shiva temple one can worship MahaGauri. She appeared in the form of Ma-Ambaji, Ma-Kalika, Ma-Bahucharaji etc. She stays in devotes heart & gives best fruits if we worship any farm.
